Today's show focused on summertime fun -- television shows  with "life-sized" heroines and books set in dystopian fat phobic futures that provide cautionary messages about possible evolution of the currrent "war on obesity." Plus a little discussion of healthism.

Music includes "Freedom" (Suchi Waters Benjamin), "Fat Bottomed Girls" & "Somebody to Love" (Queen) & "Phenomenal Woman" (Ruthie Foster).

Enjoy!

Today's Health At Every Size radio show featured a conversation between psychologist, publisher & HAES show host Peggy Elam, Ph.D. and author Lynne Murray. Co-host Pat Ballard also chimed in.

Lynne talked about her newest book, the romantic comedy Bride of the Living Dead, as well as her past and future books and other fat-positive (or, as Lynne puts it, "life-sized") fiction. Lynne is also the author of the award-winning Josephine Fuller, sleuth of size, mystery novels.

Bride of the Living Dead is available in original trade paperback and ebook format from Pearlsong Press.
